Infiltrators exiting under Amnesty Scheme will get permanent entry ban

According to reports quoting Brig. Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of Dubai Naturalization and Residency Department (DNRD), amnesty seekers who infiltrated the UAE will be slapped with a permanent entry ban even if they obtain exit clearance from the Immigration authorities during the amnesty period.

The reports quote the Director-General further as follows:

Amnesty seekers who entered the country through legal channels will not be slapped with an entry ban. These people will have the opportunity to return with a valid visa.

DNRD has already issued 27,000 exit passes to amnesty seekers of various nationalities, and also handed over nearly 32,000 passports to the Indian mission.

This is an opportunity for illegal workers to leave the country without penalty. We will impose heavy fines on companies as well as workers if they violate laws after the amnesty period.
